Decided that I needed to do research and buy some local honey here. Church street had some at £5.85 and the butter market was about a pound less. In some ways the higher prices are exciting rather than daunting – perhaps I’ll be able to sell for prices akin to that next year.
Near the Three Elms pub we saw many honey bees devouring the ivy pollen – first time I’d spotted bees on that.
